EXTREME DISCIPLESHIP

This is a class designed first and foremost for extreme discipleship of the students. We will be involved primarily in the disciplines of the Christian faith and the call to embrace the character of Christ. There will be study materials, workbooks, reading books, devotional practices and the practical applications of the subjects we address.

As a class we will engage in a deeper walk with Christ and dependency on the Holy Spirit. We will learn first how to be discipled in order that we may make disciples.  This is a powerpacked class filled with great curriculum and a lot practical application.

New Testament Survey

Who wrote the books of the New Testament?  When were these books written? How did they get into what we now call the Bible?  What are the main doctrines taught? What does the First Century Culture have to to do with understanding the New Testament?  -   These are some of the topics and questions we will be addressing in this class.  New Testament Survey will take you from the Gospels to Revelation and give you an overview of all the books included. You will be amazed at how much you learn from this amazing curriculum.

Experiencing God is a class designed to help the student discover the passions of knowing Jesus Christ intimately. If you are ready for a radical revolution in your life - this class is for you. But hurry, this one will fill up soon!

Hawaiian History & Ministry

Six weeks are devoted to exploring the history of Hawaii / Kauai and how Christianity made it's impact here. We will trace the history of our islands, the missionary's lives, how the Bible came to Kauai, revivals in our islands and the misconceptions which are commonly related to Christian Missions. Then the last six weeks will be focusing on exposing heresies among the prevalent cults active on Kauai. These will include: Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness & The New Age.

Life of Christ

In this class we will be using Dwight Pentacost's classic bestseller "Life of Christ" in our exploration of the richness of Jesus Christ. We will look at His miracles, His teachings, His travels, His disciples, His mandate and His mission.

Jesus is Savior, King, Lord, Judge, and so much more. Learn to know Him more fully and completely each week as you study His life and ministry in more detail than ever before. This class will not only educate you but inspire your walk to new depths.

Old Testament Survey

This course is designed to take the student on a journey from Genesis to Malachi. Throughout this semester we will study the lives of main characters in the Old Testament, such as: Abraham, Moses, David and the prophets. We will also come to understand the order and significance of the various books, the function and role of the Old Testament in a New Testament Church and the main themes of each individual book. This is a must class for all who appreciate the Old Testament and desire to have a firmer grasp on its content and relevance.

 THEOLOGY I

There is no greater truth for the New Testament believer to grasp than the revelation of God as Father. In Theology I, we go over the Doctrine of God, not only seeing Him as the Omnipotent Ruler, but as Abba, our Father. We will also study the Doctrine of Scriptures and the Doctrine of Revelation.  This class is designed to peer a bit deeper into some of the truths you may already be familiar with.

  THEOLOGY II

Be ready to give an answer for what you believe!

In this class we go deeper into the Christian theology and how it distinguishes itself from the heresies surrounding it.  We will study the doctrine of the Holy Spirit as well as look into the nature of the gifts of the Spirit.  We believe that our walk with the person of the Holy Spirit ought to be vibrant, intimate and powerful. Yet, not just an emotional whim but a walk based on sound doctrine.

We will also look at the doctrine of Angels as well as demons. There is so much talk these days about angels and demons - we want to see what the Bible has to say.  The student will walk away with a greater confidence in what he/she believe and a greater assurance in your faith.

THEOLOGY III

Here we look primarily at the Doctrine of Christ and of atonement. It is important for the believer to see Christ as He truly was and not just how artists portray Him. Grow deep in your understanding of atonement and the confidence this work of grace brings to your heart.

We will also be looking into the Doctrine of Eternal States, which includes the Book of Revelation. This is a brief study of how this time on earth will wrap up and the wonder of the life to come.

Worship & Intercession

This class will be taught by two cooperating instructors, Mark Riley and Mark Randolph. We will be experiencing worship, not just teaching on it. We will be looking at the life of David as well as others who have provided much for us in this arena.

Worship and Intercession is a very unique class designed to introduce the student to a God of intimacy and awe. This is a must for all lovers of worship and intercessors as well as a great benefit to those who are currently involved in these ministries.

Get ready for a journey, this is going to be an encounter!

Effective Bible Study / How to Teach
(STUDY & SPEAKING & PREACHING)

Six weeks are devoted to hermeneutics(how to study God's Word) and six weeks are devoted to homiletics (How to communicate His Word). Hermeneutics is the science, or method(s) used to interpret scripture. We have a lot of bad doctrine floating around in Christ's Church today simply because of a failure to apply certain hermeneutical principles. This coarse is designed to help the student rightly divide the word of God and get the most you can out of the Bible.

Homiletics is a class that will help develop you're preaching / teaching skills. Whether you are speaking to 10 in a home group or 1,000 in a crusade, these principles and techniques will be a benefit to you. This is simply designed to aid you in your communication of the gospel to people. If your not a communicator by nature - don't fear- this will help free you up.
